Upon entering Carloforte’s Hotel Paola one is immediately greeted by the warm sense of hospitality of the Vitiello family, who, for more than 30 years, have been welcoming tourists as if they were long-lost relatives. The warmth of Signora Vittoria, who, like a caring mother, sits at your table and tells you whats she’s cooked, the pleasantness of Paola, who divides her time between the children and the kitchen, and also Pier, connoisseur of Sardinian wines, who knows the island like few locals and can tell you of its secrets and hidden treasures, all unite to ensure that a weekend here, or even a simple dinner, will be a memorable and special experience.

Our Rooms

The Paola Hotel stands on ancient stone houses with juniper beams that still today are at the base of some independent rooms. Surrounded by a terraced countryside that slopes down to the sea, almost all rooms have windows that show the spectacle of the waves, the island of Piana and the Sardinian coast of the Sulcis.

Activity

The Hotel Paola is a realm of peace, beauty and tranquility suitable for families and couples, but often frequented by sportsmen or artists: in the great foreground among flowers and breathtaking views on the blue you can hold dance, theater and theater stages. yoga, conferences, aperitifs, cocktails, happy hours, diving lessons and even concerts.

The entire hotel is powered by a photovoltaic system, is attentive to the recovery of waste materials, environmental protection and identity of the island (here you can taste the typical dishes of the Tabarkina kitchen as the hand-made cous cous).

We also organize boat tours, archeological walks with expert guidance and visits to the nineteenth-century tonnara, one of the three in Europe where tuna fishing is practiced with the system.

Abbiamo trascorso una settimana presso l’hotel, che dire? Siamo stati davvero bene. Cortesia e disponibilità da parte del personale, ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa. Bellissima location con un panorama spettacolare che affaccia sul mare.
E i piatti? Ottimi e veramente buoni!! Lo consigliamo a chi ama la tranquillit,e comunque a circa 5 minuti di auto si arriva in paese…

How to reach us

There are connections with Cagliari from the major Italian cities, among the airlines we report: Alitalia, Meridiana, Ryanair, EasyJet, AirOne.

Connections Delcomar from Calasetta or Portovesme lasting about 30/40 minutes, daily and night, bookable. It is possible to arrive by ship also in Cagliari or Portotorres or Olbia with the companies: Tirrenia, Grimaldi, Moby Lines. There is a taxi service from Cagliari upon reservation.

Integrated transport service of the Ferrovie Meridionali Sarde and Trenitalia. Departure from Piazza Matteotti station ARST in case the race includes departure by bus, departure from station F.S. in the case the race foresees departure in train. Some trips involve the use of buses only.
